You are the best thing going in our ministry.
"Is that just self-interested flattery?" you ask.
No, it's something we sincerely believe based the fact that prayer is the fuel
that produces the energy and the results in what we do. And knowing that
you are alongside us is a great encouragement to us.  

In less than a week we leave for Argentina so we wanted you to know
what our plans and needs are so you can pray specifically for us.

 * RAÍCES: YOUTH LEADER TRAINING BOARD MEETING (Buenos Aires)
    We haven't gotten together since last July so we have a lot of ground
    to cover.  Please pray that we all hear God's voice and that we can
    accomplish our objectives in the brief time we have together.

 * YOUTH SPECIALTIES CONFERENCE (Mendoza)
    Our friend Lucas Leys is in charge of this conference and he has had
    a draining year. Last fall his wife gave birth to their first child, Sofia;
    this spring Lucas' mother died; and this is the first year for Lucas to
    put on two huge conferences. And that is on top of his already heavy
    travel and conference schedule.  The Guatemala conference went well,
    but it was only a month ago and we know it really wiped him out. He told
    us that before the conference, when so much of the work has to happen,
    he feels very alone. If you would let your support of us flow over to him,
    we would appreciate that!

    We'll be presenting two workshops at the conference and would love the
    grace to present our material clearly and to meet the needs of those in attendance.

    Several member of the Latin American Youth Ministry Summit will also be at
    the conference. We plan to carve out time to spend together, catching up
    and encouraging each other.  Pray that will happen and be a valuable time for all.

 * And of course we'd love safe, smooth travel, energy for Annette to keep
    up with and enjoy it all, and to be a blessing to the people we're around.
