Great Stories

Annette and I are in Colorado Springs, Colorado receiving training from OC International (the organization we work for). We're with 40+ colleagues and it's amazing to hear stories of what God is doing in lives and communities in Indonesia, China, Guatemala, the U.S.A., Singapore, Bulgaria and Mozambique.

4th of July - Watermelon Run

Annette eats watermelon with our nephew, Nicholas, and niece, Annabella, after the 4th of July watermelon fun run. It was the first time in over a decade that we got to spend the 4th of July in the U.S. with family.

Having Fun Working Together

Annette and I spent a few days in south Florida with Valeria, Maximo (in blue), Sophia and Lucas Leys working on a secret youth ministry project that we are partnering together on. Lucas is the director of Youth Specialties - Latin America. He and Valeria are from Argentina.

Phoebe & the World's Biggest Calliope

Annette and I spent the morning in Gainesville with Phoebe Miles - who we met when she and her husband were in Argentina with the State Department. She was helping with a photo shoot of her father's Studebaker collection which included this truck with the World's biggest caliope.
